PrairieStone AppWorks (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the PassionTrack mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App uses motion and session data, what is stored locally on the device, and how purchase and subscription information is handled through Google Play.
1. Summary
PassionTrack is a motion-based session counter. It uses device motion sensors to detect and count movement during sessions, and it may store session history, detected motion counts, date/time, duration, sensitivity or calibration settings, goals and preferences, and a locally cached purchase or entitlement status on the user's device. PassionTrack does not operate a PrairieStone cloud sync service, a PrairieStone analytics service, or a PrairieStone advertising system for this App. Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play, and Google Play is the authoritative source for purchase and subscription ownership.
2. Information the App Accesses
Motion and session data
The App may access device motion sensors to detect movement during a session and to calculate session counts, duration, and related results. This information may include motion sensor readings, detected movement counts, session timestamps, session length, and related motion-based activity data generated by the App.
Saved session history and preferences
The App may store session history, dates and times, session duration, detected motion counts, sensitivity or calibration settings, goals, preferences, and similar usage data on the local device. This data is intended to remain on the user's device and is not automatically uploaded to a PrairieStone cloud service.
Purchase or entitlement status
The App may locally cache the last known Google Play purchase or entitlement status so it can determine whether premium access is active. This is local app state and is not a substitute for Google Play's authoritative purchase records.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your full credit or debit card information.
- We do not require a PassionTrack account or login.
- We do not operate a PrairieStone cloud sync service for PassionTrack.
- We do not currently use a PrairieStone analytics service for PassionTrack.
- PassionTrack does not contain advertising.
- We do not sell or share your PassionTrack session, motion, or history data for advertising purposes.
- Purchases are processed through the user's existing Google Play account, not through a separate PrairieStone account.
4. In-App Purchases
PassionTrack may offer Monthly subscriptions, Yearly subscriptions, and a Lifetime one-time purchase. These purchases are processed by Google Play. PrairieStone Appworks does not receive the user's full credit or debit card information. Google may retain transaction, billing, subscription, purchase, and account information under Google's own privacy and billing policies. The App may locally store the last known entitlement or purchase status so it can determine whether premium access is active. Google Play remains the authoritative source for purchase and subscription ownership.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
PassionTrack session, motion, and history data is intended to remain on the user's device. Billing and subscription records are handled by Google Play, not stored locally as a PrairieStone payment system. If you delete the App, remove app data, or reset your device, local session and motion data may be removed according to your device settings and app state. We do not operate a server that stores the user's PassionTrack session, motion, or history data for retrieval or deletion on our behalf.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
Because PassionTrack session and motion data is stored locally on the device, the security of that data depends on the device's own security settings, including screen lock, OS protections, and safe device handling. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes.
